I have been transferred to a new school in the DPS system.
Change is good and God is Awesome.
This is an all male academy that is small in size but big in Heart. The majority of the staff here has a great deal of passion for the subjects they teach and compassion for the students they interact with. Some of the students here really want to learn and to excell. But of course there are those who don't see where they are in life or what they need.
It would be difficult if not impossible to change their challenges in life, but I truly believe we can impact their future. The issue for most is helping them to see beyond their situation, past their block, out of the city, to dream.
